  • Dim past events — Reduce the brightness of past events in List View.

Event Detail View

  • Set all-day as default — Create new events as all-day by default. This setting also determines which of the two default alerts below applies to a new event: when it is off, new events are timed and use Default alert for timed event; when it is on, new events are all-day and use Default alert for all-day event.
  • Default alert for timed event — The default alert (reminder) automatically added to new timed events. You can set a custom interval here — any number of minutes, hours, or days, before or after the event.
  • Default alert for all-day event — The default alert (reminder) automatically added to new all-day events. This also supports a custom interval.

Note: Custom alert intervals can be chosen only for these default alerts in Settings — the reminders added automatically to new events. When you add or edit an individual event, the alert field offers only the standard presets from the system event editor, so a custom interval can’t be chosen there.
