I can't add or save a new event
Calendar Op.2 saves new events into your iPhone’s built-in Calendar, so when a new event won’t save, it’s almost always about which calendar it would be saved to. Here are the usual causes and fixes.
1. The chosen calendar is read-only
Subscribed calendars (holidays, sports schedules, shared or subscribed calendars) are read-only — you can view them but can’t add events. When creating an event, pick a calendar you own and can edit (for example your iCloud calendar).
2. The Default calendar isn’t set correctly
New events are saved to your Default calendar. If it points to a read-only or unavailable calendar, saving can fail. Open the Settings View → General Settings › Default calendar and choose a writable calendar you own (see Settings explained).
3. Calendar Op.2 doesn’t have Full Access
iOS must allow the app to access your calendars. Open the Settings app → Privacy & Security › Calendars › Calendar Op.2 and choose Full Access. With limited or no access, the app can’t create events.
4. No editable calendar is enabled
If only read-only calendars are turned on, there’s nowhere to save a new event. In the built-in Calendar app, tap Calendars and make sure at least one calendar you own (such as iCloud) is enabled. You can also turn it on inside Calendar Op.2 under Select calendars to display.
